Paul Tucker, ChoiceOne Bank, Earns IT CISM Certification

ChoiceOne Bank is pleased to announce Vice President, IT Manager Paul Tucker recently received his Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA, a nonprofit, independent association that advocates for professionals involved in information security, assurance, risk management and governance.

To receive this certification is quite an accomplishment because of the rigouous testing required. We truly appreciate Paul’s diligence on earning his certification.”

The CISM designation is awarded to individuals with an interest in security management who meet the following requirements: successfully pass the CISM exam, adhere to ISACA’s Code of Professional Ethics, agree to comply with the Continuing Education Policy, work experience in the field of information security and submit an application for CISM Certification. Recent independent studies consistently rank CISM as one of the highest paying and sought after IT certifications.

Tucker started his career at ChoiceOne Bank 24 years ago with a background in IT and Networks.  He was instrumental in installing the first network for the Bank. Working in various roles in IT at ChoiceOne Bank, Tucker was promoted to Vice President, IT Manager in early 2019.
