In April, ChoiceOne Bank celebrated Community Banking Month as presented by Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). Sal Marranca, ICBA’s Chairman and President, had this to say on Community Banking Month:
“Community banks work tirelessly each and every day to serve the needs of their customers and reinvest in their Main Street communities.”
Truer words could not be said of ChoiceOne’s goal and focus. Our mission is to provide superior service and high-quality advice, and to show utmost respect to everyone we meet. As a community bank, we are empowered to do just that, and to better serve the communities in which we thrive.
In honor of Community Banking Month, ChoiceOne offered surveys to our customers through the month of April to see how they were “Wow’d” by the ChoiceOne team. ChoiceOne also opened the polls to its employees as well, allowing them to nominate fellow teammates that went above and beyond.
The survey results provided a lot of positive feedback from our customers with some amazing stories. Each and every comment embodies the spirit that is alive within ChoiceOne Bank. Customers recognized many employees and branches as a whole.
Rose Metzger, in Rockford, was mentioned to be very uplifting and friendly—with impeccable customer service skills. Another customer mentioned the entire Fremont Branch, saying how apt they all are to remember the names of their customers. Kory Brown was noted for his hard work and promptness while working on a loan. There were many stories and notable mentions—these were just a handful of small pieces that make up our amazing ChoiceOne picture!
